His specialties are teaching anglers the refined techniques he has learned over 43 years of fishing. His goal is to make you a better fisherman. he’ll catch it. He has fished the Catawba River chain (Norman, Wylie and
Mountain Island) for over 25 years. With over twenty Top 5 finishes in local and
regional Fishing Tournaments, you can count on him to produce quality fish when
the money is on the line. He specializes in fishing shallow water for largemouth
bass and drift fishing for big catfish. His personal best from the Catawba River
Chain is a 10lb bass from Wylie, a 30lb Blue Cat from Norman and a 42lb Blue Cat
from Mtn. Island. He’s also a two-time qualifier (2004 & 2005) for the Cabelas KigCAT
National Championship. In addition to his fishing, you can also catch his
reports and “How To” articles in regional outdoor magazines like the NC
Sportsman and NC Game & Fish. Chris fishes from an 18’ Ranger Bass boat powered
by a 175HP Johnson engine to maximize your time on the water. He’s fully insured
and licensed by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission.
